The Party 
The summer is getting ever closer … and don’t we just love it!?!We’ve dug
out those shades, admired the sexy ones showing a little more flesh and
smelt the first wave of BBQs on the sunshine breeze. All the while our heads
spinning with hot holiday plans and upcoming festival shenanigans… All very
good reasons for a bang on it party!
door. promotions are back with another exciting Never Grow Up experience
planned @ Farringdon’s Japanese chic Fluid Bar with even more reasons
for you to fall in love with the summer…
We’ve kept our Never Grow Up parties fresh from the very start, bringing you a
right ol’ mix up of experienced talent and rising stars who draw inspiration from
a whole spectrum of electronic music. Playing host to today’s musical innovators
from London and much further afield whilst still keeping the cover charge down
so everyone can party hard!
Upstairs we host our very own mini festival, complete with bunting, ice lollies
and laid-back electronic beats…
Eclectic talent includes the genre hopping AWE Soundsystem;
known well for his breaks but has much more to offer from his full repertoire,
N.G.U resident Sai, who will be paying homage to the genre that
inspired him to produce and mix music in the first place. Hip hop is celebrating
a biggie birthday this year and he will be mixing a ‘30 years’ set in dedication.
The excellent FADE IN FADE OUT with their live AV show, they take it
in turns to drop the next track or mix in live visuals a real talented duo with great
material to unleash! And from Birmingham; DnB promoters Lost Hours present
PBZ; he’ll be laying down the best in deep liquid DnB sounds to
round up that festival feeling.
Again we have live visuals all night long with N.G.U. resident VJ, artist and party
girl ‘A Beautiful Mess’ leading the troops.
Downstairs we are really excited to welcome the prodigal son of London’s
jacking house scene; …..Lee Jarvis.
His infamous Mooch!n parties paved the way for the jacking and Chicago sounds
to be celebrated in London across a number of years. He loves the music so much
he is now based in Chicago, and rubbing shoulders with house royalty! Lee’s
recent remixes and releases are getting props from some of house music’s old skool
legends including the likes of DJ Heather and Sneak, is there any stopping this guy?
We hope not! This is the first time you’ll have the opportunity to see Lee in London
this year and could be the last for some time, so don’t miss this set!
Joining Lee will be two lads who know him well; Lofty and Mike Mackeeg
from Illicit Audio have been growing their fan base in London and
the South Coast over the last 4 years and their brand is as fresh now as it
always has been. Dedicated to embracing all things house and getting stuck
with a specific set of guidelines, it resonates in both their productions and the
floor rocking when behind the decks! Whenever these two get a chance to
mix together it’s always bags of fun!
Next up, N.G.U. resident Paul TJ on an electro session tip,
Dan Macleod Smith providing the new jacking London sound,
and all the way from Sheffield, new mavericks MUGSHOT DJs;
comprising of SixFootSick and LouisLouis who will be destroying the final
hour with their own style of fidget-techno-crunked up-electro… splendid!
