There comes a point in every quality producer’s life when they need to stamp their own imprint on the digital world. Already boasting a magnitude of hugely successful remixes and original tracks across a variety of labels, Filthy Rich is certainly no stranger to the studio.
Control Freq Records reflects Rich’s intensely enthusiastic and forward thinking attitude to dance music. Open-minded, fresh and refusing to stick to one sound – the one thing that is guaranteed is music of the finest quality.
As the label grows, expect to hear yet more boxfresh cuts from Rich himself, storming remixes and the cream of the crop of new talent in house. Unbounded by genres, unrestricted by rules – anything that fits in with the unique Filthy Rich vibe goes!
It’s been a busy few weeks for the label with 3 fat-as-you-like releases finding their way to our ears…
The labels 10th release is from hotly tipped label new guys “Dirty Secretz”, who are wetting our musical palettes with an elec-tro-tinged monster anthem in the form of “Drop tha Beat”. On remix duties are Filthy Rich and James Fitch (Prok & Fitch).
We also have the Filthy Rich’s smash “Dirty Freak”, getting the 2009 remix treatment from the likes of Liam Vizzle, Dirty Secretz & Jorgensen – oh yes, more dirty electro grooves for you.
Last and certainly not least “Natay EP” is the newest release destined for great things from Filthy Rich – another heavyweight production piece for the label, and going down a storm with clubbers and industry alike. Showcasing his current sound from Rich’s ever diverse repertoire of styles, Natay is a dark and edgy tech number that focuses on the dancefloor and is still full of that vital ingredient – Rich’s energetic vigor that we all know and love him for. Equally unmissable is the B-side ‘Run and Jump.’ A hit in itself, this is a classic twisted but energetic slice of deep rolling tech-house, guaranteed to get just as much coverage on the floor in its own right.
