Review: U r the future (original) by DJ R-ben on Deep Nota Records
By Jack Silky | November 16, 2008
DJ R-ben aka Master FX takes us for an emotional ride here; which will suit in a lot of deep house & progressive house DJ’s sets. It’s a deep track which builds up from a baseline and drum pattern and brings in an emotional piano riff after about 3.30, making it a symphonically rich sounding track.
One thing that grabs your attention almost immediately when the track starts is the emotional string which adds an important factor and fundamental element to this track, namely soul. Soul is one of the conditions that have to be fulfilled if you want your music to be released on the Deep Nota Label. A New York house label which puts values like quality and passion high on their priorities list.
The subtle keyboard elements harmonically fit in with the emotional string and make this track an outstanding heavyweight emotional track. In my humble opinion it’s highly suitable for the smaller, intimate clubs and after hour activities.
